I listened to you while working on a tractor in a field and I liked it very much. I do not doubt your words you said and that were aired on radio on November 3rd. Thank you for every person you have ever helped, including me. I think the Holy Spirit is happy in your heart and that the Lord Jesus here on earth has a wonderful friend who can take His side. God Himself does not talk audibly so He uses His loved ones and I think. He would like to thank you and your wife for the love you show and with what you inflame other frozen or seriously hurt hearts. You are a good team in what you play fair and without fear.

My name is Monca from Ostrava. I am a believer of the Roman Catholic Church and I regularly attend Sunday services. I am interested in clinical death… I would like to praise your courage to write about something like that. In the Pardubice church of Cirkev bratrska we could enjoy the service of Jan Bostik on Saturday, November 16th, 2002 in the form of program called TECKO. This program takes place in the church cafeteria where seeking friends are invited as well as schoolmates and friends of our young people. So it is mainly a meeting where we want to get closer with these people in a nice environment and at least partly introduce them the Gospel in a non-forcing way. The testimony of Mr. Bostik about his clinical death experience and following search for life meaning in faith fit very well with this scheme of programs. It was possible to see following positives: for this theme it is possible to quite easily invite a good crowd of people who would hardly come to a classical Christian event. Mr. Bostik from the very beginning made a good contact with listeners and kept their attention for the whole time of comparatively long story. Much of his outside-of-body experience he complemented and explained with Bible quotations. He even did not avoid controversial questions. When looking back we can evaluate Mr. Bostik’s ministry as beneficial and helpful and it surpassed our expectations.

 

Dear Mr. Bostik,

Recently you lectured in Uherske Hradiste in Orlovna and I was there with my daughter. Unfortunately due to time reasons we had to leave just when the discussion started. I only want to tell you that your testimony was very touching. I forwarded it to some friends of mine and they also were influenced.

I would like to thank you for your lecture in our town of Upice.

Everybody considers questions of life and death from time to time. But not everybody has such peace in these things as you have. You could talk about that in a very positive way on the basis of your experience.

I realized that your story is not only a testimony but primarily it is a challenge. Challenge not to avoid questions that are much more important than many other “important” things.

Considering the local terms your lecture gathered a good crowd. And as you could see they all listened to your life story with attention. You maintained good contact with listeners and kept their attention for the whole lecture. Who heard you or spoke with you after the lecture could appreciate your kindness and your positive attitude you have in dealing with people.

I hope you were not with us for the last time and I look forward to the next event in our town when we will be able to welcome you again.

 I learned about your web page on some Christian web but I do not remember which one. I downloaded and listened to both spoken testimonies in mp3. God used it even the very next day when I spoke with my non-Christian friend and I told him your story. He was interested. No wonder! There is nothing more powerful in sharing the Gospel than personal experience with the Living God (as it is written in Revelation that they conquered through the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony). I look forward to read your book.

Thanks to my friend I yesterday read your testimony about your experience. I can sincerely write I was encouraged. I believe in God from my childhood and I attend the fellowship both in conservative and livelier modern styles. But to tell the truth I had a problem. I was not 100% sure Jesus really lives and is in heaven. I was very much helped with your testimony because you assured me with what you could see and experience.

But this caused another question – what should a man do when it really comes to the core, so that he would not have to go to hell but to heaven? There are sins that a man himself cannot deal with. I am sort of afraid of the question you got there – what can you say to vindicate yourself?

Thank you very much you did not keep quiet and did not keep it just for yourself and that you put it on the Internet. I guess many people read it. Especially when my friend sent the reference to your web pages to other friends and I did the same because I personally was encouraged a lot. I fully believe what you experienced and I think about it, why through you God wanted to show us this far what awaits us, people…? (In spite of the fact that the Bible talks about it I personally sort of believed it but did not take it seriously enough… and that it is going to be just as it is described in the Bible). Did God want to tell us to really see that at the end there really are two ways – to heaven and to hell – and challenge us to live the way to get to heaven??

 

Hi Jan,

Yesterday I attended one of our home cell groups and one lady told us how important for her your ministry was. She was on both of your lectures and then she borrowed their recordings and listened once again. She said her faith was renewed. She lent both tapes to her non-believing colleagues and she also played it to her son who left the Lord. God used you for great encouragement, so I hope this would be an encouragement to you, too.
